    Hi there ,

my name is Jeya & I came across your blog just a couple of days ago I must say that you guys are really amazing with the stocks and its statistics .
I’m currently a student & its come to my understanding that being financially free is quintessential in todays world. Im here today to tell you that I’m really keen on embarking on a journey of investing but I’m unsure as to where to begin as a student. I may not have much funds to spare but like you said never under estimate the power of a small capital 🙂 It would mean a great deal if you could give me tips or anything that would enlighten me as I’m completely clueless as to where or how I could begin. Oh & by the way I have began reading Contrarian Investment Strategies: The Psychological Edge 🙂

    Sincerely ,

    1. Jerry (Post author)

      Hi Jeya,

On hindsight, “Contrarian Investment Strategies: The Psychological Edge” is a pretty okay book. I’ve outgrown some of the thinking and theories in that book. You can check out Philip Fishers: Common Stock and Uncommon Profits. Also, Peter Lynch’s One Up Wall Street. And Warren Buffet Way by Robert G Hagstrom.

If reading is not your thing, you can check out this online course by the Fifth Person. ( It definitely costs much less than the thousands of dollars other gurus are charging in the market.)
